Welcome to Farmingdale State College!
Please review the following guidelines and look below for our availability.
General Information
- Groups must schedule their visit at least two weeks in advance.
- Group visits are limited to 40 students plus chaperones.
- Please include the organizer/primary chaperone of the visit as the first registrant.
- You will receive a URL/link in your confirmation email that students can use to register for the tour, this is not mandatory but would be appreciated.
- Groups are required to have one chaperone per ten students. Chaperones are responsible for maintaining respectful behavior among students during your visit.
- The person registering for the group will receive a one-week reminder email and a text message 48 hours before the scheduled tour date.
Itinerary
Morning Group Tours:
- 10:30AM, Arrival at FSC Campus Center
- 10:40AM – 11:00AM, Information Session and Q&A
- 11:00AM – 12:15PM, Campus Tour
- 12:30PM, Lunch on Campus, group departs on their own schedule
Afternoon Group Tours:
- 1:00PM, Arrival
- 1:10PM – 1:30PM, Information Session and Q&A
- 1:30PM – 2:45/3:00PM, Campus Tour
- 2:45PM- 3:00PM, Group Departs
- On the day of your tour, if your group is delayed, please call 631-437-0693 to let FSC staff know.
- If your group is 15 minutes late, your group will still receive an information session & campus tour.
- If your group is 30 minutes late, your group will receive a short information session & campus tour.
- If your group is 45 minutes late, your group will receive a campus tour.
- If your group is 1 hour late, your group will receive a short information session and, time permitting, viewpoints of interest on campus.
- All groups will be able to eat lunch on campus regardless of arrival time.
Transportation
- FSC cannot offer transportation; you must provide your own transportation to campus.
- Please have your transport use the address "Campus Center, 2350 NY-110, Farmingdale, NY 11735" to bring you to the correct building.
- An FSC staff member will greet you at the Campus Center.
Dining on Campus
- FSC cannot provide free lunch, but we can provide space to eat. Students can pack a lunch, purchase it themselves from our Campus Marketplace (about $15 for a full meal), or you can arrange a meal in our resident dining hall (about $11.22 per person) by contacting Robin or Jaquelyn from Aramark at waterman-robin@aramark.com, alamia-jacquelyn@aramark.com or calling 934-293-2778.
